Hold on to your seats, y’all, this might just be the easiest Chalk Paint Pumpkins DIY of your life.  I figured with starting this new dollar spot series, we should start small 😉  I love pumpkins for fall, who doesn’t? What I’m not a big fan of is the color orange, so when I saw these mini ceramic pumpkins for only $1, I had to grab them!  Something I always remind myself when I see something I like it to not pay attention to the color of it, because you can literally paint ANYTHING any color you want.  That’s exactly what I did here!  I hope it inspires you to paint some pumpkins this week!

Materials

Chalk Paint – I used this ArtMinds for this project but love this brand more
Ceramic Pumpkins – $1 in the dollar spot at Target
Paint Brush

How To

  1. The thing I love about chalk paint is that you do not have to prep a lot.  Simply just pick out your color of paint and get to painting.  Do one complete coat of paint on the pumpkin and let dry.
  2. Paint a second coat. Let dry. (It only took two coats of paint to get the look I wanted in the end!)
  3. Display in your fall decor.
