So, I was making my glitter bowl (see that here) and ended up with a lot of extra glitter and didn’t know what I should do with it. But then I thought, well I’m going to make a macrame hanger and how CUTE would it be to attach some feathers to the bottom of it!? SO CUTE!! So, that’s where this fun diy gold glitter dipped feathers craft comes into play! Hint: you don’t actually dip them in glitter 😉
- Mix your mod podge and glitter together in a bowl. I have extra from a previous project, so the amount depends on how many feathers you’re going to “dip”.
- Using your paint brush, paint the gold glitter onto the tips of the feather going outward from the middle of the feather. Let the feather dry completely and repeat this step on all of your feathers.
- Flip the feathers over and repeat step two on the backside of all of the feathers.
- Let them all dry completely and style how you want. I added them to my DIY Macrame plant holder and I love the vibe it gives off. They also look really cute in an apothecary jar on top of a shelf too.
